On the occasion of the 80th birthday celebration and the 55th anniversary on the stool of the Chief of Adum Banso, the Agyabeng Royal Foundation marked this important milestone with an act of giving that reflects our commitment to community welfare and youth empowerment. This special occasion on 14th December 2024 was not only a time for reflection and honoring tradition but also an opportunity to take meaningful steps toward addressing crucial issues that impact the lives of many.

Donation of Sanitary Pads

During this celebration, we were proud to make a donation of sanitary pads to young girls and women in the community. This gesture is part of our ongoing effort to address the needs of underserved communities, especially when it comes to health and hygiene.

In many regions, the lack of access to sanitary products can hinder the education and well-being of young girls, often leading to school absenteeism and emotional distress. By providing sanitary pads, we hope to reduce this barrier and ensure that girls can continue their education and participate in daily activities without interruption. This initiative underscores our belief that ensuring access to basic health and hygiene products is a fundamental right, and one that plays a critical role in enabling girls to reach their full potential.

Announcing the Hand Skill Training Program

Another key aspect of this milestone celebration was the announcement of the launch of a Hand Skill Training Program for the youth of Adum Banso. This initiative is designed to equip young people in the community with practical skills that can help them become self-reliant, financially independent, and contribute to the local economy.

At the Agyabeng Royal Foundation, we firmly believe that education goes beyond the classroom, and that practical skills are essential for long-term success. By providing young people with hands-on training in areas such as carpentry, tailoring, electrical work, and other vocational skills, we are opening up new opportunities for them to thrive and build sustainable careers.

This program not only focuses on skill development but also emphasizes the importance of mentorship, entrepreneurship, and leadership, so that the young participants can apply their skills in meaningful ways that benefit their communities and society at large.

Honoring Tradition with a Vision for the Future

The 80th birthday of the Chief of Adum Banso and the 55th anniversary on his stool is a significant moment for the entire community. It is a time to reflect on the rich history and achievements of the people, while also looking ahead to the future. The Agyabeng Royal Foundation is proud to have been part of this celebration by contributing to the continued growth and development of the Adum Banso community.

Our donation of sanitary pads and the launch of the Hand Skill Training Program are just two ways in which we are investing in the future of the community’s youth. We hope that these initiatives will not only improve the immediate well-being of the residents but also create a ripple effect that inspires others to invest in the potential of young people.

As we move forward, we invite the youth of Adum Banso to take part in the Hand Skill Training Program and learn valuable skills that will help them create better futures for themselves. We also encourage members of the community to continue supporting these initiatives and to think about how they, too, can contribute to the development of the next generation.

This milestone celebration was not just a commemoration of the past; it was a call to action for building a brighter, more sustainable future for the youth of Adum Banso. The Agyabeng Royal Foundation is dedicated to helping nurture the leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators of tomorrow—and this is just the beginning.A Community United for Change
